The Centralized Laboratory Management Office (CeLMO), or Pejabat Pengurusan Makmal Berpusat (PPMB), was established on 17th October 2023 with the goal of centralizing all laboratories at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). CeLMO provides extensive support for research, teaching, and testing services, catering especially to students and researchers both within and beyond USM.

CeLMO serves as the primary management hub for laboratory equipment and offers an integrated online platform - USM Laboratory Equipment and Services Information System (LESIS@USM) - to facilitate user access. Through this platform, users can browse all laboratory equipment registered at USM to obtain detailed information about the equipment and the testing services provided by various Schools, Centers, or Institutes.

With its advanced online booking system integrated with a payment gateway, CeLMO envisions creating a virtual centralized laboratory accessible to all users, enhancing convenience, efficiency, and collaboration.
